President’s Park White House Visitor Center Increases Accessibility with Softeq’s Durateq® ATV

November 30, 2015 — Houston, TX — With the completion of recent state-of-the-art renovations, the White House Visitor Center, which offers a unique window into the iconic home of the Presidents of The United States, now offers more accessibility options and technology. The National Park Service worked closely with the National Center for Accessibility to provide all visitors a fully accessible experience.

The development of Durateq and its implementation in Disney theme parks and other venues became the topic of the recent BADCast special called Champions In Accessibilities for BlindAbilities hosted by Pete Lane. Bryan Gould, Accessible Learning and Assessment Technologies Director at NCAM (National Center for Accessible Media), discussed the experience within Durateq project and explained why Softeq team was ahead of time with the device.
