Softeq Launches the Durateq 3100 - A Rugged Handheld Device

Chicago, Retail Systems, May 24, 2005: Softeq Development Ltd. today announced the introduction of a rugged handheld computer, the DURATEQ 3100. The device, based on HP iPAQ Pocket PC technology, uses advanced materials that make this device durable without the bulk, weight, and awkwardness of other rugged handhelds.

Softeq Partners with HP for Accessibility

At Hewlett-Packard's CSUN booth, Softeq demonstrated the Durateq handheld as an example of Accessible Technology. The Durateq is a solution that uses and harnesses HP products and technology, including the iPAQ Pocket PC.

HP works closely with 28 assistive technology (AT) vendors through the HP Assistive Technology Partner (HPATP) program to ensure that HP products are compatible with specialized AT solutions. The giveaway celebrates the introduction of the DURATEQ 3100.
