CHRIS HOWARD
Chris Howard is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Softeq Development Corporation. A lifelong entreprenuer, Chris saw a market for hardware businesses seeking highly qualified, technical software development, and founded Softeq in 1997. In 2001, a hardware division was formed from the demand for custom hardware solutions, which became the DURATEQ Division in 2005. Prior to Softeq, he was founder and CEO of Genus Microprogramming, Inc., a leader in software development toolkits for 10 years. Chris received an Honors scholarship to the University of Houston in Electrical Engineering, has developed software products in over a dozen different programming languages, is a published magazine and book author, and can play Guitar Hero on Expert mode.
PAUL FRUIA
Paul Fruia is Vice President of Engineering of the DURATEQ Division of Softeq Development, directing product development in both software and hardware. Paul is also responsible for the integration of technologies that provide systems solutions for mobile and assistive customers. A 12-year veteran of Softeq, Paul received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. He has more than 25 years of experience in electronics, engineering, and software, and is an accomplished drummer.
ANDY PROCHASKA
Andy Prochaska, Project Manager and Engineering Lead of the Durateq Division of Softeq Development Corporation. Andy has over twenty years’ experience in the computer and software industry and has been a part of the Softeq team for ten years. Most recently as a Softeq senior engineer, Andy has accumulated five years’ experience in developing and managing assistive technology projects at world-class venues such as Walt Disney World in Orlando, the new World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, and the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Previously as a Softeq consultant, Andy managed the iPAQ Developer Program for Hewlett-Packard and developed and managed mission-critical software projects for SanDisk Corporation. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society.
TERRY MARSHALL
Terry Marshall is Assistive Technology Sales and Marketing Manager of the DURATEQ Division for Softeq Development. Terry is responsible for driving the growth of the rugged handheld solutions in the Assistive Technology market space. Terry has over 20 years of experience and success in highly visible marketing and sales roles within the technology marketplace. Before joining Softeq, Terry held roles as Channel Marketing Manager and Channel Sales Manager with Hewlett-Packard Company and Compaq Computer Corporation for 13 years. Terry conceived and implemented channel marketing programs for US resellers, Value Added Resellers and System Integrators, along with managing the strategic relationships for assigned Distributor accounts. When Terry is away from work, she enjoys traveling and volunteering for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as a member of the Rodeo Ticket Sales committee.
